Modular Basestation Exciter + Power Amplifier
| |
|
High Performance
Improved modulation performance and low noise design allows use on high density sites. On sites with only a small number of other users, multicoupler and filtering requirements are lower, with corresponding cost savings.
Continous Duty
The transmitters are rated for continuous duty at full output power, so they can work harder without fear of overheating. Full thermal protection prevents damage to the transmitters under exceptional conditions.
Rugged Die-Cast Construction
Integrated die-cast modules give exceptional ruggedness, while maintaining electrical integrity. Combined with extensive use of surface mount technology, the total package is one of outstanding reliability.
Modular Design
Plug-in modules simplify on-site servicing. A replacement module is simply plugged in, allowing the original to be brought back to the workshop for servicing. Down time is minimised, and the units can be serviced under ideal workshop conditions.
Versatility
Modular construction allows assembly of systems to individual requirements. Even complex or unusual systems can be realised within a compact size.
Programmable Channels
Up to 128 channels can be programmed, for internal dipswitch or external control. A single configuration is usually enough to cover all bases in your system, simplifying set-up. Also, you can keep that plug-in replacement for rapid response to system faults.

The Eclipse range of Base Stations, Repeaters and RF Links use a modular design. This has been done to offer the most flexible use of any unit for system configuration. Using the 19" rack international standard for construction means the units are easily assembled into a format that meets customers needs.
Based on the recognition of our customers operational needs, the audio circuitry of the Eclipse equipment has been designed to give an unprecedented on air quality. This exceptional quality has been confirmed by many mobile operators who immediately recognise the Eclipse equipment performance from that of other manufacturers.

The Eclipse Receiver design incorporates specifications that comply with most of the worlds differing specifications for Base Station / Repeater operation. Emphasis has been given to sensitivity, selectivity, blocking and inter-modulation performance to ensure outstanding operation in the most congested sites.
For interfacing with the vast array of associated equipment, Eclipse receivers have the following interconnection features:
. 600 Ohm balanced or unbalanced outputs.
. High impedance output.
. Discriminator output.
. Direct Audio output.
. Opto coupled COS output.
. Either de-emphasis or flat audio response.
. Noise, Carrier, CTCSS or Fast Noise squelch operation.
. Internal monitor speaker standard.
. Built in diagnostics.

The Eclipse Transmitter / Exciter design incorporates specifications that comply with most of the worlds differing specifications for Base Station / Repeater operation. Emphasis has been given to high power outputs ranging from 1 - 25 Watts. With in built power amplifiers, these units can be used as stand alone transmitters for lower power amplifications such as 25 Watt Repeaters or as RF Links in the 2 - 5 Watt range.
In order to interface with a vast array of associated equipment, Eclipse transmitters / exciters have the following interconnection features:
. 1 - 25 Watts output with internal low pass filter.
. 100 % Duty Cycle to 50C.
. 600 Ohm balanced or unbalanced inputs.
. High impedance input.
. External tone input.
. Test microphone input.
. External PTT input.
. Opto coupled loop keying input.
. Either pre-emphasis or flat audio response.
. Built in diagnostics.

 |
The Eclipse Power Amplifier design incorporates specifications that comply with most of the worlds differing specifications for Base Station / Repeater operation. Emphasis was given to high power outputs 25 - 120 Watts.
Eclipse power amplifiers have the following features:
. 1 - 120 Watts output.
